Will my license be suspended if I am convicted of Operating After Suspension (OAS)?

Typically, on your first conviction for operating after suspension (OAS) the court will impose the mandatory minimum fine of $250.   The Bureau of Motor  Vehicles will suspended your license for a minimum of 60 days upon receipt of the abstract of your conviction from the court.  Criminal OAS is a Class E crime that has a mandatory minimum fine of $250 for a first offense and a minimum $500 fine a second and subsequent offense.  OAS has a maximum sentence of 6 months and a $1,000 fine.
